About Your Practitioner
Hello, my name is Hosannah and welcome to Healing Hands.
I grew up in the city of Milton with my siblings and did sports, camp counseling, and local church events with friends and family.
My journey for medicine began at UW Whitewater with the prospect of becoming a physical therapist until the summer of 2015. I took my mother, who had been fighting many different health issues, to an acupuncture treatment. My inspiration for changing paths occurred after seeing a drastic difference in her pain level from pre- to post treatment; the amount of relief my mother had was incredible and with a few needles and 45 minutes. Within a month of that appointment, my life changed courses. I was immediately accepted at Midwest College of Oriental Medicine (MCOM) in Racine upon the letter of recommendation from the acupuncturist and was employed as an office manager for a clinic in Janesville. I was mentored by several methodically differing practitioners and many experiences that have given me my skills of healing today.
In 2022, I have added myofascial lymphatic drainage, facial acupuncture, and beginning of January 2023 I received training in craniosacral therapy level 1. These combined therapies have allowed me to benefit my patients to the best of my ability.
My goal is to give my patients all possible tools and assets needed to help regain the ability to heal themselves. Our bodies are smart and incredible; I am only facilitating your body’s own capabilities to heal itself.
